Showing below, Aniruddha (who is depicted as blue) and his party (perhaps his father Pradyumna and uncle Sāmba) in discussion with King Rukmi and his advisers, while above is shown the wedding of Aniruddha and Rukmi’s daughter Rocanā - they stand reverently before the sacred fire while two brahmins recite the prayers and ladle the ghee. Lines of men and women watch the ceremony, while below left are two vigorous trumpeters and a drummer.
